HACTL to set cargo record

Hong Kong Air Cargo Terminals Ltd (HACTL) is set to establish an air cargo handling record for this year with cumulative throughput for the first eight months rising 3.6 per cent to a total of 918,326 tonnes.

HACTL exports rose 2.4 per cent to 416,201 tonnes, imports climbed 5.9 per cent to 393,074 tonnes and transshipments were relatively static at 109,051 tonnes for the period from 1 January to 31 August, 1996.
