Madras firm eyes Israel deal

Madras-based Chokani International is hoping to buy Israel Shipyard's dry dock for US$14 million. Lloyd's List said a shortage of repair business had forced the shipyard to sell the dry dock. It said other Israeli shipping firms, such as Zim Israel, had opted to repair their vessels in Greece where rates are lower.
