AIDS Centre carnival

The Society for Aids Care (SAC) is holding its first annual Spring Carnival at Stanley Fort, on Sunday from 11 am to 6 pm.

The event is to raise funds for The Lookout, the SAC's new hospice and residential care centre which will open in March.

There will be dance, music, mime, clowns and stilt-walkers, a classic car display and an obstacle course.

Women's designer clothes will be on sale at reduced prices and while mum is shopping, children can take part in face-painting, hat and quilt-making and pottery. Sportswear, toys, costume jewellery and crafts will be on sale, as well as food.

There will be a raffle, with more than $70,000 worth of prizes, including a luxury holiday for two to Manila, with Cathay Pacific Business Class return tickets and accommodation at the Peninsula Hotel.

More than 25 other prizes will be up for grabs, including weekends at Hong Kong's top hotels, Swiss watches, shopping and restaurant vouchers.
