South African Airways has introduced a fourth weekly flight from Hong Kong to Johannesburg. This follows the termination of flights from Johannesburg to Taipei after South Africa switched its alliance to mainland China.

The Hyatt Regency Macau is undergoing renovation and refurbishment, which should be completed by mid-year.

The alterations will include additional meeting rooms which will be sound-proofed, and a new business centre.

Meanwhile, Hyatt Hotels and Resorts has joined the British Airways Partnership frequent flyer programme, and to launch this is offering Executive Club members upgrades at its dozen Park Hyatt hotels from March 1 to May 31.

The Regent Singapore is offering first-time guests 10,000 Passages kilometres for staying a minimum of two nights. The offer is open until the end of this year.

Ansett Australia has joined the Global Rewards frequent flyer scheme which allows members to collect points for travel with this and 10 international partner airlines.
