Topaz House unstoppable in track and field events

Topaz House grabbed the overall championship after winning both the girls' and boys' team events at the 17th annual athletics meet of Hong Kong Chinese Women's Club College.

There were 783 students participating in this year's sports day at Siu Sai Wan Sports Ground, and seven records were broken.

Fourth-former Fu Yu won the Grade A Boys' individual championship with a first in the 100 metres, long jump and triple jump.

Lip Sze won the Grade A Girls' individual championship.

In Grade B, Tyson Tam Kwan-yee and Leung Suk-yin, both of Topaz, won the Boys' and Girls' individual championships respectively.

In Grade C, Poon Ho-yin of Ruby won the Boys' individual title.

Chong Man-wai and Kong Hoi-ling of Topaz both won the Girls' individual title.

Topaz House dominated the races, winning the Grade B and C 4 x 400 m, Grade A Girls' 4 x 400 m, Grade C 4 x 100 m titles and a second place in Girls' Grade A.

5D team won the popular annual staff-student 4 x 100 m relay.

Yasmin is a sixth-former at the school
