Should allow mail registration

As a previous Walk for Millions participant, I agree with Darwin Chen from the Community Chest (South China Morning Post, March 17), that 'to avoid frustration on the day and to ensure public safety' there should be an advance booking scheme for the Lantau Link Charity Walk.

However, I am not happy with the booking arrangements.

Booking by mail is not accepted. The location of the registration office is not given.

Also, how can the chest ask walkers to line up for hours to register? This will put some people off.

Why not have a 'first come, first in' arrangement and arrange for registration by mail? NAME AND ADDRESS SUPPLIED
