Hall-of-Famer Nancy Lopez picked up her first Tour victory in four years as rain washed out the final round of the US$550,000 LPGA Charity Championship at Eagle's Landing, Stockbridge, Georgia.

The round began late in the morning but play was suspended less than three hours afterwards, and tournament officials eventually decided to shorten the event to 36 holes and declared Lopez the winner.

Fifty-eight players completed their second round on Sunday morning after a rain delay of nearly three hours halted play on Saturday.

Lopez shot a six-under-par 66 to finish at seven-under 137, two shots ahead of Tina Barrett, Deb Richard, and Australia's Karrie Webb.
