Red Devils to hammer home superiority
South China Morning Post Sports Editor Chris Lakey takes the last pop at Tim Bredbury's 13-point haul in the final bout of Tipping Winners for the season.
This is how Chris, a Peterborough fan who tends to cast an eye over Old Trafford occasionally, sees Sunday's games: Villa 2 Soton 1 SOUTHAMPTON finally managed to move out of danger but Graeme Souness will still want them to fight. It won't be pretty.
Blackburn 2 Leicester 1 I FANCY the fight has gone out of Leicester and can't see them raising their game at Ewood Park.
Derby 2 Arsenal 1 DERBY have bags of energy and a great will to win, whereas a few of Arsenal's senior citizens will probably have their minds on other things - like where they will be playing next season.
Everton 1 Chelsea 1 EVERTON have been a let-down this season, not helped by their manager walking out on them. Chelsea seem to have their minds on the FA Cup so a draw looks favourite.
Leeds 0 M'boro 1 THE big question is, can Leeds score? The answer may be a resounding 'NO' against a team whose defence has tightened up of late, compared to earlier in the campaign. Boro have plenty to fight for while Leeds haven't - basically the case all season for them. Man Utd 3 West Ham 1 UNITED haven't clinched the title at Old Trafford since 1965 so they will need to give their fans a three-point going away gift. West Ham can score and play a bit at the same time and United don't need the points now, so it should be entertaining.
Newcastle 4 Forest 0 FOREST are poor and deserve to drop out of the Premier, while Newcastle have been on a good run.
Sheff Wed 1 Liverpool 1 LIVERPOOL have a bit of work to do if they are to challenge next season. Still have Newcastle breathing down their necks though but they will find that Wednesday are no pushovers.
Spurs 1 Coventry 0 YOU can expect Coventry to fight all the way but I think the points will be beyond them. Spurs have been another let-down this season but can turn it on once in a while.
Wim'don 1 Sun'land 1 WIMBLEDON must be dog-tired and will probably be glad to see the season come to an end.
