Nowadays, many young girls dream of romance. However, I think we are too young and immature to fall in love.

Firstly, what is our responsibility now? Playing? Shopping? Loving? As teenagers, our main duty is study. Our parents work hard to give us money to buy books for our education. They only want us to do well in school so that we will have a bright future. Falling in love is a waste of time and money. Lovers have to buy presents and spend a fortune going out.

Secondly, when lovers split up it can be a cause of much misery. Many teenagers seek counselling when their lovers leave them or express their doubts about their relationship. How silly they are. They are young and have the freedom to have many friends.

Thirdly, we are easily cheated. It will be a small problem if you only lose your money. However, what will you do if you lose your innocence and your lover leaves you? We are too young to love.

There are lots of things waiting for us to enjoy. Why waste valuable time? Sau-lan is a pupil of SKH Lam Woo Memorial Secondary School
