Three of British racing's top young guns will ride in Hong Kong next season as Jockey Club riders, with Jason Weaver expected to make a major impression.
Apprenticed to top Newmarket trainer Luca Cumani, Weaver went north to join the stable of Mark Johnston before freelancing for the past two seasons.
He is one of the most prolific riders in the country and will be having his first taste of Hong Kong racing from December to February, the sought-after mid-season stint that will also herald the return of Australian ace, Steven King.
Interestingly, the Jockey Club are attempting to secure the services of an America rider for December through to the end of February although top riders from the US are notoriously difficult to get.
Up-and-coming English stars David Harrison and Brett Doyle will be on hand for the first three months of the season with the latter almost certain to return to Dubai where he has been a successful visitor in recent seasons.
Doyle is held in high regard by a number of trainers and is attached to the successful stable of Clive Brittain.
