A businessman who kept 10 giant turtles on the balcony of his flat was given a two-month jail sentence, suspended for two years. Ng Keung, 43, admitted cruelty and illegally trading in turtles. He was fined $1,000 in Eastern Court and ordered to pay $5,000 costs.
