AN Ansett Australia jumbo jet made an emergency landing at Kai Tak yesterday after one of its four engines stopped in flight.

A Government spokesman said the 747-300 was travelling from Sydney to Hong Kong.

The captain requested that emergency services standby as it landed at 5.47 pm. None of the 202 people aboard was injured.
