Beijing Enterprise Holdings said some of the assets owned by its 80 per cent-controlled Yanjing Brewery were mentioned last week in an announcement saying the company was to issue A shares.

It said Yanjing Group, which holds the remaining 20 per cent of Yanjing Brewery and is a promoter of the A share offering, yesterday agreed the offering would not proceed as mentioned in the announcement.

It also said a separate listing of Yanjing Brewery would proceed as described in its listing prospectus.
