Federal Express Corp says it will encourage the Clinton administration to take a strong stand in the dispute with Japan over air cargo rights.


The US Government is concerned about Japan's refusal to allow Federal Express to fly to the Philippines, China and Indonesia after landing in Japan.


US President Bill Clinton wants the two countries to discuss the issues soon.
