New Volvo range

Volvo

Swedish car manufacturer Volvo will unveil a new line of cars in China over the next month featuring a sleek look tailored for Chinese consumers.

The state-run China Daily says the new line will replace the Volvo 960, 940 and 850, which have been marketed in China for years. The new models will boast 'softly rounded contours'.

In addition to the traditional Volvo family car, the new line will also feature a utility vehicle and sports model.

Volvo is the second car-maker to unveil a new product line in China this month.

Japanese car-maker Toyota began marketing a new subcompact in early June to meet growing Chinese demand for a small-sized family car.
