Singapore Airlines, Ansett International, Ansett Australia and Air New Zealand have formed an alliance which they say is the largest among airlines in the Asia-Pacific.
The airlines claim passengers will benefit from a wider choice of flight routes and frequencies; frequent flyer co-operation; simpler access to ticketing across route networks of the partner airlines; improved connections and streamlined check-in services with boarding passes issued for all inter-connecting flights at the initial check-in.
