South Korean diplomats say they are monitoring the police investigation into the theft of 113 passports, stolen when a courier delivering the documents to the Foreign Ministry Office in Wan Chai put down a plastic bag last Friday.

A travel agency in Seoul sent the passports to obtain visas, which are processed faster in Hong Kong, for tourists wanting to visit China.
