Gorges 'to stay' scenic

The scenic beauty of the Three Gorges will remain unchanged even after the massive dam project is completed, say project engineers.

The engineers said the central Government had taken measures to preserve important historical and cultural relics, and hoped to create 100-plus sightseeing spots.

Numerous travel agencies have been promoting tours to 'bid farewell to the Three Gorges'. Engineers said this was misleading.
