Most lovers think marriage is the beginning of happiness. However, many married couples would say it is the beginning of troubles.

  Marriage is no joke. It is a life-long commitment. When couples marry too young, they often cannot handle the pressure.

  Many start bickering and become unhappy.

 As Shakespeare said: 'Hasty marriage seldom proves well.'   I think marrying later in life is much better.

  But most young people would disagree with this advice.

  They think love is everything. They believe love can endure hardship, suffering and poverty.

  They think they can live happily without money as long as they have each other.

    They are often not aware of their responsibility to support each other in solving problems and caring for one another.

 Young marrieds are usually too idealistic. Still playful, they think enjoying themselves is the most important thing.

  However, many people would agree that marrying later in life is better, especially if they want a career.

   These more mature couples consider the cornerstone of marriage to be working together.

  Young couples often have more arguments over trivial things because they are too emotional and immature, and can't face their problems.

   Or they can't solve their problems rationally.

  More importantly, they do not have financial security and can get into heated arguments over money matters.

  The husband may complain that his wife goes shopping all the time, while the wife may grumble her husband spends too much time at the pub with his friends.

   Young marrieds are still at the puppy-love stage and are usually unwilling to sacrifice their individual way of thinking and lifestyle.

   Another important point is that women mature faster than their partners, even if they are the same age.

  This means the gap between the too-young marrieds will widen even further. With quarrel upon quarrel, how can a relationship last?   People should definitely think twice before tying the knot too young.

  Instead they should be focusing on achievement in work or study.
