Fidelity makes executive switch

Fidelity International announced a further shake-up of its Hong Kong operations yesterday.

Following on from the appointment of Brett Goodin as managing director of Southeast Asia and Australasia, Robert Auld, former director of research at Fidelity's money markets division, is to be chief operating officer for investments.

Primarily responsible for portfolio management, research and trading groups in Hong Kong, Mr Auld will be joined by Bruno Lee as director of direct retail business, to establish and execute Fidelity's direct retail strategy.

Alongside Mr Lee will be Edmund Lascis, as director of Hong Kong wholesale, and Anne Lam, formerly of Jardine Fleming, who is to be senior manager of institutional business.
