Hyundai nets crane exports

Hyundai Corp and Hyundai Heavy Industries have jointly won a US$30 million order to export cranes to Yantian International Container Terminals of China. Hyundai Heavy Industries would be in charge of building four cranes to be delivered by 2000, Hyundai representative Lee Yae-rim said. Hyundai Corp, which handles 90 per cent of Hyundai Group's trading operations, expects its sales to rise from 20.5 trillion won (about HK$177.67 billion) last year to 24 trillion won this year.
