Japanese transport officials blamed pilot error for a bumpy ride which injured 12 people aboard a Japan Airlines jet flying from Hong Kong to Nagoya in June, the Jiji Press said. The accident was initially attributed to severe air turbulence but investigators found the pilot pulled the control stick excessively when the MD-11 jet was approaching Nagoya airport.
