What a waste
Given that so many people are talking about housing shortages, it seems timely to bring the following to the attention of the Housing Authority.
I live in Tai Hang (off Tai Hang Road) where I face the Lai Tak Estate in one direction.
I have noticed that the estate has many units that have been left empty for quite a long time now, particularly in the circular blocks, which is a total waste as these units command a spectacular view of the harbour. You can even see the fireworks.
This estate is in a good location.
It is up a hill and in a low-density population area.
I wish the Housing Department could do something to allocate these units soon to those families which are in need, instead of just leaving them lying empty all the time.
