Cambodia Journalists Fled
More than 40 journalists have fled Cambodia following Hun Sen's coup, says the exiled head of the Khmer Journalists' Association Association.
Pin Simkhon said yesterday media freedom was virtually non-existent.
About 60 newspapers flourished before the coup but now there were just eight.
'Foreign journalists are safer than us because they are protected by their own countries,' said Pin, who was brought to Hong Kong by the US-based Freedom Forum.
