Emperor International reveals $5.2m in free rent for director

Emperor International Holdings, the property, publishing and financial services group controlled by the Yeung family, says it provided rent-free accommodation worth an estimated $5.2 million to an unnamed director in the year to March 1997, according to its latest annual report. According to the report, the highest paid employee who was not a director received between $6.5 million and $7 million during the year. Last year the highest paid employee received between $2.5 million and $3 million.
