I was shocked and dismayed to see two of yesterday's Chinese-language newspapers had published graphic photos of the plane crash in Cambodia. These horrific scenes should not be published, particularly on the front pages. It is upsetting for the victims' families, and disrespectful of the dead.
If English language newspapers have the decency not to publish such images, why can't the Chinese-language papers? To publish these photos is nothing more than morbid sensationalism, and reflects the disgraceful lack of respect and decency displayed by certain sectors of the press.
