Terri Holladay, the Vietnamese-American stunner on the cover of this month's Orient Beauty magazine, tells a tale other tai-tais might want to take note of.

Having just moved apartments, she wanted to get rid of some old (read one season old Versace ) clothes.

Having taken them to the local Oxfam store, she was told that they were full and could not take any more clothes for the time being. Now the worst thing that can happen to someone like Terri is to be stuck with old clothes, especially when you need every inch of wardrobe space for your new ones.

Help came in the way of a friend, who proffered: 'Why don't give them to your ex so he can pass them on to his current girlfriend.' Quick as a flash, Terri replied: 'They wouldn't fit. She would have to do major alterations to them.'
