Facilities at heart of ANA strategy
ANA Hotels is expanding to meet the needs of business travellers with the opening of its first hotel in Indonesia and a third in China.
Rapidly developing cities like Dalian, in Liaoning province, and Jakarta are considered strategic markets for ANA Hotels.
'We need to develop more in the Asia region because that's where business travellers are going,' a company spokesperson said. 'And to improve services for the business traveller, we are seeking to include more business facilities.' Plans for both hotels come shortly after ANA's sister company, All Nippon Airways, announced flights to Indonesia and the China mainland.
Many of the ANA Hotels have soundproof meeting rooms, auditoriums for teleconferencing and multi-lingual interpreting facilities.
Executive friendly hotels run by the company in Japan and Australia could prove to be models for their new ones in Jakarta and Dalian.
Overseas companies wishing to enter the Japanese market can have their executives stay at the ANA Gate Tower Hotel Osaka near Kansai International Airport.
Fax-equipped rooms are available and the hotel can prepare rooms as offices and offer secretaries, interpreters and translators. Like a mini United Nations session room, the hotel's International Conference Hall is also equipped for simultaneous translations.
In Australia, the ANA Hotel Sydney has seven meeting rooms and a business centre offering private offices, a boardroom and secretarial services.
