ETHIOPIA'S Fita Bayesa collected his fourth victory in as many races in the latest leg of athletics' world cross-country challenge series, in San Vittore Olona, Italy.

Bayesa moved to the top of the standings with 100 points from his four wins, having won earlier races in Durham in England, and in Seville and San Sebastian in Spain.

Bayesa took the lead less than three kilometres into the 10-kilometre race and won by nearly 100 metres from fellow Ethiopians Worku Bekila and Haile Silasie in 32 minutes 24 seconds.
