3M has introduced a system that enables high-speed, wireless data transmission for digital devices. The 3M CompactFlash adapter downloads data from palmtops, digital diaries, audio recorders, digital cameras and cellular phones at a faster rate than RS232 cables. It accepts CompactFlash cards used in Type II or II PCMCIA card slots.
