Girls' bad language spells trouble

It is disgusting to hear teenage girls swearing all the time.

Such an attitude is not old- fashioned because, despite modern times, swearing is still rude by any standards.

Perhaps some girls think they will seem like boys if they use four-letter words. If they have no change for the bus, they say '*&?!. If they get annoyed when a canteen queue never moves, they say '*?*&' I have observed girls who smoke, spit on the footpath, and mouth lots of obscenities. They should be aware these activities are serious offences on MTR trains and in other public places. When decent people hear such language they stare at the offender.

But often the person in question is happy to attract such looks because they are seeking attention. Luckily, Hong Kong people are very tolerant.

If you are a girl who indulges in such atrocious behaviour, remember acting this way doesn't make you seem like a boy. It simply makes you seem like an unruly girl capable of treating anyone with total disregard.

People may be afraid of you. You may have your supposed friends. But you won't get true friendship from kind people.

Stop the obscenities and rudeness before it's too late. Tackle it now before it becomes an ingrained habit. If you fail to do so, you may become addicted to it.
