Sing Tao blew away the cobwebs in thrashing Rangers 4-1 in last night's Ericsson First Division match at Mongkok Stadium.

Playing their first game since beating Golden 2-1 on October 1, Sing Tao proved too strong for a Rangers outfit who were also playing for the first time after the long break because of Hong Kong's commitments at the China National Games. Goals by defender Gus Caesar and forwards Anto Grabo, Zeljko Gavrilovic and Wai Kwan-lung lifted the side to second place in the standings. Kevin Hunt pulled one back for Rangers.
