Cahya to build Bintulu berth

Malaysian construction and building materials maker Cahya Mata (Sarawak) says its subsidiary has been awarded the contract to construct berthing space in Bintulu Port in eastern Sarawak state.

Cahya's 51 per cent owned subsidiary PPES Works (Sarawak) will design and build a 950-metre berth at Bintulu Port. The contract is worth M$210 million (about HK$477.35 million) and is expected to be completed by the end of 1999.
