More public wheels required

The mainland needs nearly 200,000 buses and taxis a year to expand and replace its ageing fleets, according to reports. The China News Service reported yesterday that sales of taxis and municipal and long-distance buses were expected to account for nearly one-eighth of the country's annual vehicle sales.
