MESSAGE Excellent service is the key to success in the retail sector.

In order to maintain the reputation of Hong Kong as a a world-class service centre, we must constantly impress upon the front-line staff the importance of quality service.

Over the past 14 years, the Hong Kong Retail Management Association has committed itself to promoting the professionalism of the retail sector and helping it meet the rising expectations of the local community and overseas visitors.

The association has made remarkable achievements in raising the image and quality of service of the industry. The Service and Courtesy Award scheme it has been organising since 1985 is well received by the community.

I sincerely congratulate all the winners of this year's Service and Courtesy Awards and wish the association continued success in its future endeavours.
