SOUVENIR trading card firm Merlin have launched their new collection for 1998 featuring international stars captured in specially-commissioned photography.

The official collection features 150 cards with different action pictures on front and back with gold foil blocking. A metallic embossed collectors' subset featuring all 20 Premier League clubs is also available and features an array of club statistics, and other relevant information.

Hong Kong company Panimex International Ltd, who market the PremierGold and Super Premium card range, are also running a competition to promote the new products with the winners getting a special card binder and a complete checklist of the 1998 card edition plus a limited edition SuperSize card featuring top stars in the Premier League.
