Plenty of gracious living still to be Dunn
People always wonder what happens to those who leave Hong Kong.
Well, according to Lady Dunn, there is life after Hong Kong, even though you used to lead a high-profile one.
Spotted recently at the opening of an exhibition by two young mainland artists at a gallery in London, Lady Dunn told Alice King, the organiser of the exhibition, that she was enjoying life in London, although it wasn't as hectic as Hong Kong.
Alice, who is Chief Executive Tung Chee-hwa's sister and owns Alisan Fine Arts, said Lady Dunn spends her time indulging in London's cultural life as well as exercising and going to her country house.
She has retained her position as a director of John Swire & Sons. Among the ex-Hong Kongers who turned up to the exhibition were former Jardine taipan David Newbigging, ex-journalist Sherry Buchanan and writer and film producer Caroline Courtauld.
As for the artists, Xu Lei and Yu Wei - a husband and wife from Nanjing - proved a hit in London.
