Keep all HK's trails clear
I write to complain about the badly overgrown condition of the section of the Wilson Trail between Hong Lok Yuen and the summit of Cloudy Hill. The condition of the trail presents a dual risk for members of the public; firstly the risk of injury due to stumbling on an unseen obstacle and secondly the increased risk of being bitten by a snake.
I would appreciate it if a spokesperson from the relevant government department would state the official policy regarding the maintenance of the formally recognised walking trails in Hong Kong.
In my view these trails are an important leisure facility for members of the public and, as such, they should be fully available in a properly maintained condition throughout the year.
