Under-worked government staff
I LIVE in Sai Kung Country Park and I agree with your correspondent Marty Carlock (South China Morning Post, March 4), that there is so much litter around, particularly in the Chek Keng area and the section of the MacLehose Trail between Chek Keng and Pak Tam Au.
However, the annoying thing is that the Agriculture and Fisheries Department staff won't pick up rubbish, so I was told.
So, whenever I and a member of my family goes for a walk, we carry a bin liner with us and pick up litter along the way.
Can't the Agriculture and Fisheries Department make these under-worked members of staff do something to keep our park clean? NAME AND ADDRESS SUPPLIED
