WHAMPOA Garden's price fell from $3,857 per square foot (psf) to $3,803 psf last month, a drop of 1.4 per cent, according to Brooke Hillier Parker's (BHP) February report.

Since its peak last June at $4,069 psf, Whampoa Garden has only dropped 6.5 per cent, which shows its resilience amid a soft market.

''It's nothing new, Whampoa Garden is one of the most popular and better located estates in Hunghom, offering a full range of amenities. The development is holding its property value due to upper-end investment activity,'' said Mr David Faulkner, an associate at BHP.

He said major estates in good residential areas would continue to show more resilience than the rest of the market, which had seen falling prices since the third quarter of last year.
