Today is World AIDS Day and the start of a year dedicated to looking at the theme of Children Living in a World With AIDS.

Teen AIDS focuses on youth and children, and is actively involved in many major programmes to promote awareness of HIV/AIDS.

Our Youth Sex Education Hotline is open on Monday, Wednesday and Friday, from 10 am to 6 pm.

If you have any queries or problems about sex, AIDS or personal development that you would like to discuss with a professional, please call our counsellors on 2554-3399 during these hours.

The finals of the Hong Kong AIDS Education Drama Festival will be held on December 30 and 31.

The venue will be Sheung Wan Civic Centre Theatre.

Groups from secondary schools and other organisations selected from the earlier phase of the competition will have individual professional drama tutors to guide them during their rehearsals.

We have invited well-known theatre professionals to give the students advice.

Assistant artistic director of the Hong Kong Repertory Theatre, Ho Wai-lung, and the artistic director of Chung Ying Theatre Company, Ku Tin-lung, will be judges.

If you're mad about computers, you can take part in the web page design competition jointly organised by Teen AIDS and Chinese University of Hong Kong.

Teen AIDS and Prospects Theatre Company are also collaborating on the project - AIDS Journey: An Education Touring Performance for the Youth - an interesting trip you can make in your own school to raise awareness and discover your own attitudes to the disease.

A big tent will be set up in the school playground and students will be given assigned roles.

Any school interested in going on the adventure should call Wong Wai-ling on 2606-7222.

Our intermediate workshop on facilitation training for the public starts on December 7.

If you attended the basic course, don't miss this one.
