ENGLAND forwards Jason Leonard and Brian Moore, plus Alex Snow, were reprimanded by their county rugby union authorities for wearing illegally long studs in a club match last month.

The Harlequins trio were ordered to change their studs by referee Stewart Piercy during the cup game against Waterloo. His report to the English Rugby Union was passed to Middlesex for action.

The Middlesex county authorities also censured Harlequins.
