Agents named for Kerry Cargo Centre
Kerry Godown Holdings, a wholly owned subsidiary of Kerry Properties, has appointed Jones Lang Wootton and CY Leung & Co as joint sole leasing agents for its 2.4 million-square- foot Kerry Cargo Centre in Kwai Chung.
The 20-storey cargo centre is due to open late next year and includes eight floors for air cargo, seven for general cargo, one floor for loading and unloading, four floors of car parking and 78,000 sq ft of office space on the 20th floor.
All told there will be 1.3 million sq ft of cargo space on 15 floors for lease, a spokesman for Kerry Properties said.
Air cargo space will cost $15 per square foot on the gross while general cargo space will be $8 to $9 per square foot, according to the company.
Kerry said the $1.2 billion facility would become an important logistics centre.
