Three bankrupt state-owned firms in Xinjiang have been auctioned, the China news service reports. The Urumqi Yuejin Iron and Steel Plant was sold to Urumqi Huanpeng Co for 85 million yuan (about HK$79 million), while Urumqi Tianshan Dyeing Plant was sold to Urumqi Textile Group for 15.5 million yuan, it said. Urumqi No 1 Paper Mill was auctioned to Urumqi No 2 Paper Mill, for 8.5 million yuan, the agency said.
