A drunk driver ran on to the pavement and crashed into a phone booth and guard rail after colliding with a taxi in Queen's Road Central at 6.25 am.

Two passengers were sent to Queen Mary Hospital with minor injuries. The driver tested positive in a blood alcohol reading and has been released on $5,000 bail.
