Black Attack keeps you on the edge

On The Edge - Black Attack (Ariole) Formed by the Dreyer brothers in 1996, the American hip-hop trio have finally released their debut set, On the Edge.

The tracks combine traditional gangsta rap with exceptional melodies. For example, the violin theme from the movie Bilitis. Other songs, including Dirty Money, U Make Me Feel So Good and Blowin' It Up, blend elements of rap, hip-hop and R & B. They will surely excite clubbers with their groovy beats and catchy lyrics.

Dots And Loops - Stereolab (Elektra) Stereolab have released their best work so far - Dots And Loops.

The album is a combination of 1960s tunes, French pop, classic Italian soundtracks and warm, mellow, orchestral jazz. Tracks like Miss Modular, Rainbo Conversation and Prisoner Of Mars are remarkably easy to listen to.

The Wilsons - The Wilsons (Mercury) Pop perfection is in the blood for this group. Carnie and Wendy Wilson's debut album was one of 1990's major success stories.

And their father is Brian Wilson, the musical genius behind the Beach Boys.

Between them they show that musical talent must be passed genetically.

The three have united for this special album - The Wilsons. Brian has contributed four of the album's 12 tracks and the two sisters co-wrote the other nine tunes.

The first single is Monday Without You and is fantastic. Other highlights include a re-working of the Beach Boys classic Til I Die,, the breathtaking epic Miracle and the catchy melodies of Goddess' Revival. Classic family, classic pop.
