THE 10th athletic meet of Yan Chai Hospital Lim Por Yen Secondary School turned a new page in the school's sports history.

The athletes displayed strong enthusiasm and team spirit and a lot of new records were set.

At the opening ceremony, Mrs Chow Zee-lisu, the school principal, said she was delighted by the high participation rate.

The meet started with a fun telematch which comprised three parts - running inside a plastic wheel, running with a hoop-mounted plastic sheet and blowing balloons.

After two days of competitions, Poplar House managed to clinch the overall championship. The best cheering team award went to Banyan House.
