Indonesia services link up

Korea Marine Transport Co and Hyundai Merchant Marine Co plan to unify their Korea-Indonesia services into a joint, fixed-day weekly container service from April 7.

The carriers will deploy the Hyundai Sprinter from Ulsan on the inaugural sailing and will use three 1,600 to 1,700-teu (20 ft equivalent units) vessels on the service, which will take 11 days between Ulsan and Jakarta, 10 days from Pusan, eight days from Keelung and six days from Hong Kong.
