Hong Kong-based Carina Overseas (HK) has started services from Japan to inland mainland cities such as Zhangjiangang, Nanjing, Chongqing and Wuhan through its Japan agent, Seven Seas Shipping Co.

Cargo is moved on three routes from Japan via Tokyo-Yokohama, Kobe-Osaka and Moji-Nagoya by sea to Shanghai, then by rail to Chengdu.

The company also is providing further carriage of goods to inland cities by barge - an addition to the existing service as part of its central-mainland expansion plans.
