I refer to your report of April 2, on a book by two authors who claim to have discovered the existence of political voting patterns in the Eurovision Song Contest. I am amazed it has taken so long for someone to make this discovery.
I remember noticing years ago that (i) Greece and Cyprus never vote for Turkey, (ii) Turkey never votes for Greece or Cyprus and, (iii) Greece and Cyprus always vote for each other. This has sometimes led me to wonder whether these three countries are perhaps too childish to participate in a music festival - let alone any kind of serious international discussion.
